## Latest News and Updates in Formula 1

Red Bull has achieved a significant milestone in Formula 1 by securing 100 race victories, with Max Verstappen's win at the 2023 Canadian GP being the latest. In other news, Williams' F1 progress has been hindered by the hidden cost cap rules, making it challenging for them to compete with the top teams.

## Recent Changes in Formula 1 Rules and Regulations

Formula 1 has made several changes to the rules and regulations for the 2023 season. These changes include a longer season, technical changes to eradicate the phenomenon of porpoising, clarified rules surrounding back-of-the-grid penalties, experimentation with tyres in qualifying, more sprint races, changes to the rear-view mirrors, reduced work hours for F1 team personnel, tightened rules surrounding gearbox modifications, extra freedom with fuel temperature, and changes for wet weather.

Latest Technological Advancements in Formula 1

F1 technology has made significant advancements, with F1 power units being the most efficient engines on the planet, producing 20% more power and 26% less CO2 emissions than the normally aspirated V8 used up to 2013. F1 technology has also made its way to the road, with Mercedes-AMG’s Project One hypercar using an F1-derived 1.6-litre turbo-hybrid power unit, and Aston Martin’s Valkyrie utilizing an energy recovery system. F1 teams' expertise in aerodynamics and carbon fibre technology has been utilized in multiple other sports, including sailing, bobsleigh, and cycling. Public transport, hospitals, and supermarkets are also benefiting from F1 technology.
